Unfortunately I am listening to some of the typical morons that call in to his show. I mainly wanted to hear what Cecil had to say a little while ago, but you are right he is being pretty lenient on the barners so far. Hopefully some of them will come out of the hole to whine here soon, :).

I'm not listening but to those who are there is a difference in listening and paying attention to him ;)
Amazing the difference between the two, isn't there?!
Obviously you didn't receive my pm response or I would have heard back from you by now. See what I mean about clicking on the wrong buttons?! Just can't take me anywhere some days! I'll try to recreate tomorrow!

Roll Tide!:BigA:

Finebaum is great. He tells it like it is. That means we dont like him half of the time. Fortunately our half is past.
Some Auburn fans think he's pro-Bama.
Some Bama fans think he's pro-Auburn.
Most football fans think he'll jump on whichever bandwagon is passing by in hopes of boosting his ratings, and what he says really doesn't matter.

Your first point confirms what I said. For your second point, ask Coach Shula if he has no influence.
So Finebaum is the reason the alumni and the administration opened their eyes!!! .. It all makes sense now .. THANKS PAUL!

now getting back to reality, seldom does he tell the truth often stretching it, twisting it, or just plain making it up. it's about the rise he can get and the ratings. he's just another shock jock of the sports world and unfortunately based here in Alabama.

Finebaum's columns and radio show helped to ease the way for the administration to make its decision last year. It's just a fact. There are 50 states in this great union and all of them have their fair share of radio hosts. Very few of them have the national recognition of Finebaum. Don't like him if you like, but your lack of respect for him just demonstrates ignorance of his influence.
I'll agree to disagree with you on everything Finebaum... fair enough? :)

You are fighting a losing battle. Tidefans is an extremely anti finebaum forum. It's an unwritten rule to not even mention the name. Give it up.

if others want to express that opinion, I will express mine as well. That's what makes the forum fun, right?
That is my philosophy too....but.... you would have an easier time convincing Moon Landing hoax believers [SIZE=-1]that the Moon landing really happened than trying to get the collective group opinion of this forum to have respect for Finebaum.

Both are insane attempts :)

But what do I know, have fun.

You don't have to like him, but he is doing something right because a lot of people are talking about him and listening to his show. Most of the people that complain about him are taking what he says way too seriously. Finebaum is all about stirring the pot and evidently he is very good at it.
