TiderFromTenn, I think you need to stop and realize where Major was coaching at last year. He was part of a staff that took Rice to their first bowl game in many many years (I'm sure someone has already posted the exact # of years). Rice is not a powerhouse of college football or even a middle of the pack program in college football (no offense to Rice fans or anything). I think what he accomplished there especially given his level of experience and the level of talent he had to work with there was outstanding. You may not feel the same way and that's fine, but forgive the rest of us if we believe CNS's opinion of his abilities instead of yours.
Rice's first bowl since 1960! And, BTW, CMA's offense was the main reason they were there. Also, they lost their starting QB early in the year and have not missed a beat with a limited back up. So, do your research TfromT before you make silly comments.
