Article on Bathroom problems in Baton Rouge

She looks like a woman. Let her in the ladies room. Course that would open the floodgates for cross dressers. What if you identify as a woman but wear bluejeans and look like a man. Might freak the ladies out! Greater minds than mine must decide. No Selma, that's not you!:)

I have always found it funny Red Stick's newspaper has the same name as a gay paper.

So, is there someone standing guard by the women's bathrooms stopping her from entering?
You know, if I were in need of a restroom and the only thing available is the women' room, I'm going in. It's not like the stalls are wide open, or that any of the women inside have anything that I haven't seen before.
Let her go in, and into one of the stalls, take care of her business and leave. What's the big deal?
No, this is someone wanting attention. More of the GLTG crowd pushing for acceptance of their particular cause.
Good God, woman. Just go into the bathroom, take care of your business and and shut the..

This from the article just blows my mind:

Transgender advocates note that a person’s gender identity does not have to correspond with their physical sex and people can identify as a different gender without ever planning to have surgery.

In my book, yes it does and it is just crazy to say otherwise IMO. If not, then from this day forward I declare myself a woman, with unrestricted use of all woman bathrooms and locker rooms. I'm sorry but, this thing was born a man and until it completes the crossover, it's a still a man, just like the driver's license says. This is just someone, or something, wanting attention.

A friend of mine said the restrooms where he worked had a "P" and a "V" on door instead of mens and ladies. The company had been sued by a transgendered person so this is what the lawyers came up with.

We certainly believe in delusions, don't we?

A (somewhat) related question:

The Coushatta tribe owns a casino in my area and distributes some portion of the profits to those persons who have Coushatta lineage. If I decide that I really, really feel like a Coushatta and begin to dress and present myself as a Coushatta, am I entitled to my portion of the payments? What if I am psychologically convinced that my inner Coushatta is being discriminated against? What if, through no fault of my own, there is no corrective surgery available to make my outer person look more Coushatta than my inner person knows I am? Am I legally bound to being what I was born? Or does the politics of the issue determine the answer?

Come to Alabama and become a Poarch Indian and we'll open a casino. Chief:)
