Happens at every event. I suppose there were "the sitters" when Christians were fighting the lions.
You know that's true. Probably did the stupid wave, too.

IMO, the fans have a responsibility to the team, and they cannot fulfill that responsibility sitting quietly on their duffs the entire game...
but whoever said you come off as the bad guy--that is true. and that's sad!
The only time I have a problem with people standing is when the wave comes around. I hate that and would love to sucker punch the loser that starts it.

a girl and her mom sit behind us and the girl talked on her cell phone the whole game. At one point she even said "Oh my god if these people would be quiet I might could hear" I could not believe someone would say that at a football game! Luckily they left at the start of the fourth quarter.
When I take my boys, we walk around a lot so they can see everything. There are plenty of places in most stadiums to take kids to see the action. We usually don't spend much time in our seats...What if you take your kids to the game and they can't see a thing? You take them there to enjoy the whole atmosphere and all they can see is someone's backside.Maybe what we need is a parents w/kids section, a sitting section, a standing only section, and a sometimes standing section.
It is good to see a more vivacious crowd. BD use to remind me of the forty-niners fans.
That is the most disturbing part to me. Maybe one day BDS will be a place where EVERYBODY stands no matter the situation - a la the STUDENT SECTION!
In the meantime, continue your UPRIGHT SUPPORT of the TIDE!
RTR-stop the streak
Sigh, anyone not standing should stay home. What a moronic thought.
