It’s been weeks since KDB was hired, and NSD is behind us. Yet we do not see any coaches listed on rolltide.com under football coaching staff. I find that to be really strange.

Been discussed a few times here. Its not abnormal. School hasn't officially announced anyone other than deboer and likley won't until the BOT approves contracts.

Yea and a few other nfl teams i believe.

He seemed to really want out of ucla. I assumed he just wanted out of college but it must be something else. Maybe he knew a firing was inevitable after the 24 season.

UPDATE ...

We're removing Grubb altogether in the wake of the news tonight coming out of Seattle.

If Grubb does leave, we think the next OC will come from within the staff, either JaMarcus Shephard or Nick Sheridan. If it's Sheridan, he would likely move from TE coach to QB coach in the process.

Unfortunately, there is a chance now that other staff members could follow Grubb to Seattle. Both Shephard and OL coach Scott Huff are being rumored to also be under consideration by the Seahawks.

I've seen Missouri oc Kirby Moore mentioned. Coached for deboer before at Fresno state.

Upside is deboer runs his.offense so not the end of the world, and I can't imagine deboer didn't already have a heads up that this was possible.

Sheridan has QB coaching experience in the past. I think it's more likely he moves to QB coach then to have a TE/co-OC and then hire a standalone QB coach.

Alabama hired Kalen DeBoer to specifically get Kalen DeBoer, not any one assistant or a group of assistants. The system is DeBoer's. It doesn't "defeat the purpose" of anything.

If others go to Seattle this would be imthe most ideal. Keeping Shepard and sherridan. But id love to keep Huff as well.
