Just read thru this thread. I think you guys may have enjoyed this game more than I did! I was starting to feel sorry for war eagle. They had no idea what to do with a good spread offense!
It was a shame the games overlapped. There are few things more enjoyable than watching Auburn get taken to the wood shed. Congrats on a great win! Oh and you will learn to never feel sorry for barn fans.Just read thru this thread. I think you guys may have enjoyed this game more than I did! I was starting to feel sorry for war eagle. Just think back to how you felt when we beat Texas and you'll understand.Just read thru this thread. I think you guys may have enjoyed this game more than I did! I was starting to feel sorry for war eagle. They had no idea what to do with a good spread offense!
trash TD's don't usually amount to 21 points. Still there was no danger of losing for sure. I'd flip back every now and then to check if 70 had been achieved lol. I think the only team LSU hates more than Alabama is Auburn .. rival Tigers something like that. That was mostly 2s and 3s in there!

The Montgomery Advertiser finally gets it right.
Honestly I think this is riduclious and a problem with our fan base. No Auburn loss can ever rival an Alabama National Championship, period. I thought that was the domain of depraved Auburn fans, who would happily commit murder suicide with Alabama if they could. If Auburn only losing one game would help Alabama win a National Champions, I'd cheer for that in an instant.Just think back to how you felt when we beat Texas and you'll understand.

Last year I saw some supposed Alabama fans say they couldn't cheer for Auburn, even if it means Alabama going to the National Championship game. Those are not Alabama fans, they are Auburn haters and there is a difference. I care about Alabama, not Auburn. The only reason Auburn matters at all is because of Alabama.
If you didn't read Clubfitters post from the Advertiser then you need to do so now.
It is well written and finally near truthful and appears to answer some questions about cheezenip and his team!!!
The last paragraph may be telling but I hope not. Hope he stays 10.5 years.
You're reading way too much into what I said. It was not about us beating them for the Championship, it was just a half serious response about how he/she felt seeing their rival get beat.
As for Auburn, if it helps our cause I would happily pull for them too. At the same time, I'm not going to feel too sorry for them when they get gutter stomped in a game that doesn't affect us. Although, it probably does help up in common recruits.
As for your second paragraph, that attitude is just too ridiculous to even comment on.

In my defense, he didn't explicitly state the rival part. However, I completely missed the Aggie in the name of the person he was replying to. My bad on that.Agreed. They said we felt the same way Aggie fans did after a big Texas loss, not comparing it to us winning a national championship.
