In fairness to some of that argument, that fumble on the Goalline was probably a TD, if you look at the replay, the ball carrier was over a Georgia defenders butt when he lost the ball, the defenders butt was at least a yard in the end zone , the hideout play play vs OU, the Kirby timeout that prevented a 4th and 6. I just hope football Karma doesn’t reward Auburn for all that misfortune against Bama.

John Cohen was asked if he expects Hugh Freeze to be Auburn's coach next. Here's what he said

On Monday, Cohen told AL.com a coaching change is “not my expectation at this point.”



When asked whether or not he expects Freeze to be Auburn’s head coach in 2026, Cohen said he has a “never say never” attitude, and used a metaphor about a car not starting to explain his thought process.



“I don’t know if I’m going to walk outside and my car is going to start or not, I think it is,” Cohen said. “I have an expectation it will. But if my car doesn’t start enough, then I will evaluate that and make decisions about my car. But that’s not my expectation at this point about our football program

Yeah that became apparent when it was stated he had only played in four games. First thing I thought….he was wanting to save a year and redshirt. Kinda like Oatis last year with us.

Here’s the thing. After the fumble play, maybe it was a bad call maybe it wasn’t, but they had Georgia on their own 1 yard line. Georgia had done nothing on offense the entire half.

And Auburn essentially folded up like a cheap table.

They let Georgia drive nearly the length of the field and kick a FG to end the half and aided them with two horrendous personal fouls to do it. Just stupid boneheaded plays. Then, they gain less than 50 yards the entire rest of the game.

Freeze is a used car salesman fraud. Gus was not much better. Harsin was a horrible hire.

That’s why Auburn is in the shape it’s in. Threes straight bad coaching hires/retentions (should have called Malzahn’s bluff and let him take that Arkansas job), not the SEC office being in Birmingham. Not some grand conspiracy against Auburn.
