Even though the Crimson Tide had 28 players unable to run sprints at the end of Tuesday’s final scrimmage, Shula doesn’t expect anyone else to miss Utah State except for players who recently had surgery or have yet to practice this fall.
That includes sixth-year senior wide receiver Antonio Carter, who now also has a pulled muscle in addition to his leg problems and is out indefinitely.
When asked if Carter could play before midseason, Shula was unsure, adding, “it’s going to take some time."
