Toughy. By Rivals, I think we may finish 2nd or 3rd, and I'll go with 3rd, but it still may take some changes like maybe 1 of our current 3 stars to become a 4 star and not bringing in anymore 3 stars (which is possible, but we may take another 3 star LB like Atchison or King).

But we look to finish really strong and I think we once again are number 1 in the SEC when its all said and done. But I expect USC to still be number 1 overall

I'll go with 4 and hope that I'm being too pessimistic...

We finish very strong but the numbers hurt v/s last yrs 32 we signed. You have to be amazed by the studs on the D and O line that were bringing in. Teams are going to hate playing us because the ice bath sucks on Sunday a.m. when hitting those BIG:eek2: Elephants!!!

Hasn't everyone who ever played Bridge (or Poker) dreamed of getting a run of cards like Bama got in the way of players in last years' class? As long as Saban is here, we can expect to get "hands" like that. And the Ace of Spades this year, in my book anyway, would be Reuben Randle, but I will welcome any of the other Aces of course, such as Dre, Massie, Trent, Fluker. We used to think that getting an Andre Smith or Julio Jones early would draw in a great class, but those two waited until the last moment to commit.

We'll sign enough for a top 5 finish, in fact at this point with the way things are going I'd be highly surprised if we didn't finish somewhere in the top 5. This class is going to finish extremely strong by all indications, a run at #1 isn't out of the question. JMO.

Thanks - I don't follow recruiting as closely as many of you do. I was just basing my thoughts on how few seniors we have playing this year under scholarship.

Another full class, with this fast start - wow!

There will be some attrition besides the ones Graduating out of the system. Some may go early to the NFL draft, some from injuries and some will transfer due to lack of playing time.
 
When the number of signees for this class was floating around at 22--I said we would finish #7. However, if we end up with 24-25--I suspect we will finish around #4 or #5. Scout...well--their rankings are a complete joke(they have the barn's class at #4 right now:eek2:)--so who knows where they would rank us. Maybe around #8 if we sign 25...and around #10 if we sign less. Have I mentioned that I hate Scout's recruiting department???
 
We're gonna finish in the top 5 on Scout too, of that I have no doubt. Their team rankings is just really heavy with the depth/numbers, and so when we fill out more and finish the way we're looking to...we're gonna fly up and Auburn is actually probably gonna drop out of the top 10 as other top teams fill up

Funny thing is the barners are proud of their Scout ranking and ignore the underlying weakness in their recruiting class. To them three 2-star players > one 5-star player.
 
Due to the number we can sign this year i would like to make a guess of top 5 but my gut says not quite but i have a good feeling about many being able to be future stars and very few misses which will make up the difference .Roll Tide Roll.:BigA:
 
Any chance we finish first in the sec? I read TD.com(LSU) sometimes and all they talk about is hating Bama and how great their recruiting class is gonna be? I would love to see our class finish above theirs just to here how much they hate us even more.

Yes, I'd say it's a strong possibility we finish with the SEC's top class.

A couple of months ago, I'd have said no. Right now I'm expecting it to be a race to the finish with LSU.


What's funny is it might just come down to Reuben Randle on whether or not we finish over them or not.
