Bama - Missouri - 2:30 CBS?

In regards to the deal ESPN and CBS struck:

CBS had to give up first pick for at least one game (possibly two) this season due to getting Alabama/LSU in prime time last year. Last weekend was a weekend where ESPN had first pick (Which is why they went with LSU/Auburn and CBS got stuck with South Carolina/Missouri). ESPN might have another weekend left on the agreement.

Looks like the same setup for this year as well. CBS is picking up the Bama-LSU game with a 6 PM kickoff.

Actually, CBS is allowed one prime time game each season. Last year, they had already used it before the Alabama/LSU game so that's why they had to cut a deal with ESPN.

Yep, you are right. Got to make allowances for Games of the Century.

I sure am glad that LSU-Bama is a nightgame so I can hit up my old fishing spot in Lake Charles for some trout prior to kick-off. Not to crazy about having to deal with drunk LSU fans though. I guess 21-0 will have to back them down till gametime.
