Bama Game Thread: Bama vs Duke 2nd half Momentum Change Thread

We just aren’t quite in their class. This was going to be our toughest game even if we were to go all the way just because of the matchups. We were going to have to have an analytical anomaly type of game just like the one we had Thursday to overcome the difference in talent, and we haven’t been able to string two red hot shooting games together so far this year. No shame in that, just facts.

We shot the ball horribly tonight. Made zero defensive adjustments. Ok. When you miss 26 layups you’re not gonna beat anyone.

Well, we lost our two best 3 point shooters and still made it to the elite 8. I'll call that a successful season. You take the lessons you learned here, and you go and build an even better team next year. I do believe it's possible if we can hang onto most of the key pieces that are eligible to return, and also land some ballers in the portal. This year didn't end the way we hoped, but a national championship is coming. The only question is when.

Well, I certainly hoped for a better effort and better result tonight, but it's been a great year. How many times before Coach Oats got here did you see BAMA in back to back Elite Eights, with one becoming a Final Four. Gonna miss all the guys that are leaving, but I hope we can reload for next year. Great year BAMA.

Thanks to Sears, Youngblood, Nelson and Grant to Bama basketball. Tonight, Duke was simply the better team. The refs did not beat us. Duke did along with help from ourselves.

An Elite Eight is much better than hoping we would make the dance or win a game or two in the NIT with some of the previous coaches we have had. RTR!

Duke is a great defensive team & they ahut us dpwn..

That still doesn't excuse the non calls against Duke..
