****Bama vs. LSU PostGame Thread****

CNS made a statement last night (press conference) that intrigues me. He was asked about him jumping up in AJ's arms after the game. CNS responded with something like, Well AJ and I have been through a lot together, some of it you know about and some of it you don't....... I sure would like to have been a fly on the wall to see that, "some of it you don't".

Knowing coach, you don't. You would have gotten swatted.

CONGRATS on a great game and victory!

I really enjoyed watching it.

The degree of accomplishment and skill on this team is like none I ever ever known.

For me the best part though is the spirit that permeates the entire program.

BDS was rocking last night - at the end especially when victory was in hand. That was very cool.

It's a distinct privilege to watch Bama football - and I want to thank you for that.

Brandon Ivory played a very good game tonight - maybe the best I've seen him in an Alabama uniform. There were a couple plays where their center looked like he had a steering wheel on his chest.

I agree. He controlled the center of the line, and that helped to shut down their running game. I didn't think we would be able to stop their running game as well as we did. We simply dominated the line of scrimmage in the second half.

I love how CBS showed the quote from the LSU DT about how our OL wasn't as physical as they have been in the past and that we didn't punch people in the mouth anymore, all the while we are pounding the running game down their throats in the second half.

We punched them pretty good after that quote.

Second-half play and especially 4th quarter play was reminiscent of New Orleans. We now have 3 in a row against them and their Hat--2 of them dominating and another breaking their hearts in their house. Their BDS success monkey is now off our back. The question is: what are the ramifications for LSU of these beat downs? I think they are still affected by the NOLA loss and last night will lead to a total wheels-off-the-bus situation. They'll lose again after this processing.

Where will they go from there? They had the savior at QB! And he got rocked and rolled. The run game was crap. Roll Tide!

Man I'm savoring this today!

Weighed down the collection plate in church this morning a little more than usual...

My planned yard work for this aft got rained out by cold, windy wet weather.

And I used the extra time to hold my nose and lurk on Tiger Droppings, in order to get a feel for the extent of the weeping n gnashing of teeth...

Now, time for the obligatory long hot shower after visiting that repository of vulgarity... :)

RTR everyone!!!!!!!
