A losing season for us in 2009 will still be a lot better than the disastrous season in store for them in 2009.
I wouldn't go that far, rhYno. If we start doing that we start becoming, sickening as it sounds,
more like them!:eek2:

not every 10 win season was followed by a losing season. In 1989 we went 10-2 and followed that with a 7-5 and a victory over the barn. In 1986 we finished 10-3 and followed that up with a 7-5...so your friend seems to recall only partial history. Plus as stated we won 12, not 10....
I've often noticed that when Auburn fans boast, they always have to put limits on it. "6 of the last 7, X of the last Y", that sort of thing.
I have a co-worker that is a big barn fan. He is busy saying we will have a losing season this year. According to him Bama always has a losing season following a 10 win season, I just laugh and tell him good thing we had a 12 win season.
It has been so quiet around my workplace since the 36-0 whuppin...the 3 barnies have all crawled into their office space and shut their mouths...quiet as little mice...I love it...
Well, he was right in 3 cases, but he was wrong about the other TWENTY SIX times we have won 10 or more games in a season._green:
But unfortunately bragging about their Iron Bowl victories has been replaced with accusing us of being cheaters. I knew once we ended the streak they would return to their old ways.
The last I heard from one of my barner friends was some smack about the utah game immediately following it. I just replied. "36-0 and 5-19". He replied touche. Smart guy for a barner.
