Hiring Belichick seemed like a good move in the beginning, I mean the guy has a few superbowl rings, but I get the feeling this is not going to end well for them.
I mean I think the ultimate goal was to get his son the head coaching job there. If Bill leaves before the season and his son gets promoted, then the ending is the same regardless of how Bill got there. Bill has honestly never cared about apprearance in the media. So I'm not sure why he would care now.

When I was at Va Tech, two older NCOs (late 30s, early 40s) were watching the pretty young ladies walk around campus.
One of the NCOs mentioned how great it would be to have a relationship with one of these young women.
The other (the wiser of the two) said, "What would you talk about the morning after?"
I went away thinking (besides the creeper factor), "You know, that is a good question." When I was in my late 30s/early 40s, I had nothing in common with a 20-something. Music, literature, life experiences? Nothing.

I have no idea what Belichick talks about with this woman.
Who said anything about talking?

On a side note, I really wish he can keep this together for at least a season because I really want to see what a Freddie Kitchens offense looks like at the college level.
You make me so wish I still had the answering machine recording of Freddie hitting on my ex-girlfriend...such a long story though.

Now, UNC is publicly coming out and saying the girlfriend is welcome on the field and at the facilities. Wow, this is getting better by the minute!!!
I know right! This should have been a nothing story and has turned out to be the best college football offseason story since Pole Assassin’s pet monkey attacked a kid at a birthday party.

I obviously have no idea, but from the outside looking in, it does appear that Belichick has gone soft in the head, and for many years now. I guess I still feel bad for Mac Jones.

I never thought Mac going to New England would be a bad thing for his career, but it turned out to be that way. Analysts and former players say it constantly when talking about young quarterbacks; where they go is a huge factor in whether they will make it in the NFL or not. I look at Brock Purdy and the offensive system he works in and wonder if Mac would have gone there rather than New England, would things have been different? I know he's there now, but he's now considered "just" a backup in the league, and I doubt he will ever get a true shot as the starter. If Brock Purdy can succeed in the NFL as a starter, I find it hard to believe Mac Jones couldn't, if given the same environment to begin with.
