During the Bama-Colorado telecast Sunday night, one of the announcers said something about a billboard near Monroe that had a message for Bama that they could not repeat on TV. Did anyone see it or know what it said?:BigA:

The only billboard I know of is the one on I-20 West in the area of the Pecanland Mall in Monroe that reads something like "Tide Rolled" and the score of the ULM/Bama game. And yes it really does exist.

Definitely not a hammer because he never nailed a thing all night. My guess would be a rasp because he grated on my nerves the entire game.:biggrin2:

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's no photo shop job. It's for real. My wife and I saw it on the way to Shreveport.

Yeah, guys, it's not photoshopped. You could see it from the bus when riding through. Many many people in the band saw it, I saw it, and even a few in the chain gang(i got to talk to)ASKED if we saw it.

Sorry, but the sign is for real. Driving Westbound on I-20, it's at the last exit before you cross the river into West Monroe from Monroe.

Yes, it is real. we saw it driving to shreveport. It was sponsored by a local auto dealership. It cost the city of Monore some money because I am sure that many Bama fans did not stop and spend any money in Monroe just because of the billboard. I know that there were six of us in two cars that refused to even stop for gas in Monroe going or coming because of it.

Not only is it real, but there are actually two of them. The other one is by the ULM campus. Funny that it can be declared a hoax despite eyewitness accounts to the contrary.
