Brandon Cox?

As a Hewitt-Trussville grad (1 year behind Jay Barker), I can say that Brandon Cox is one of the best high school QB's I've ever seen play. To say that his going to Auburn is in any way a knock on Alabama is ludicrous. fRan didn't recruit him, and it is definitely our loss that he is at the barn. We could have used a player of his caliber last season.

i was at the kentucky/barn game and he didnt look like a great qb by any means. maybe he improved but he threw some very bad passes against kentucky. :conf2:

I agree with you Shadow. My brother-in-law is from Trussville and always spoke highly of Cox.

I realize that hindsight is 20/20, but I'm sure we would have been better off offering Cox than David Scott or Grant Dickey, even with the reduced scholarships. :conf2:
