Game Thread: Braves Final Homestand vs Mets and Royals

Being honest, I have no faith in this team this year. Teams this bad do not belong in the playoffs. The system is badly broken to even allow it to happen.

But, hey, since we made it in, let's just win the whole thing!

What’s crazy is that somehow this team has a better record by 1 game than the 2021 team.

But that team was insanely White HOT for about the final 6 weeks of the season and maintained it into the playoffs.

This team is hard to figure out.

They can score 10 runs one day and then are lucky to get 2 hits the next.

They will pitch a shutout one night and then give up 8 runs the next.

You can’t rely on either side to bail you out on any given night.

But anything can happen in the playoffs and especially the WC and Divisional rounds.

I missed the last couple innings because teacher conferences :(

between them i was able to see on my phone perez and ozuna having some discussions in the dugout. Never could figure out what about . What was that?

ESPN had someone in the dugout that overheard some of the talk. They said it was basically stop playing for yourself, this team needs you, they way you go is the way the team goes.

It worked, that was great coaching.

Saw a clip on ESPN during MNF that hadn’t crossed my mind. Both the visiting and home clubhouses in Truist Park were popping champagne after game 2.

This stat is amazing to me.

Home records:
Braves 46-35
Mets 46-35

Which obviously means both their road records are 43-38

Phillies road record is 41-40
