you know those threads that people go look at on ITAT, and they link them here saying "look at this classless post on ITAT. Those barners sure are eat up with envy. They even wish our guys would get hurt.......blah, blah"...you know those threads?

Yeah, that's THIS thread. Easily the most embarassing thread on Tidefans in a long time. Good job guys.

This. Guys, we are better than this. This thread is embarrassing. They won; they may or may not have it tainted; it took them 50 years; but they won.
 
Fist bump..Same thing I was thinking last night. I attributed it to alcohol and hurt feelings, though.

AMEN. I just posted to a Barner friend of mine on Facebook that he needs to celebrate his team winning, rather than taking the time to talk down to his rival. It goes both ways.

Yeah cam over heard the doctors speaking, thought they said Bluerays and grabbed the file from their hands. Last I heard he was still running, looking for a window and his daddy.

Really there are just so many jokes in this and yet this thread headed down a different path. Come on TFs! I though you guys were imaginative.
 
Don't want anybody to get hurt. That is classless and reserved for other fan bases who shall remain nameless.

I don't think we know yet if Newton will be a good pro QB. I do know that the offense he plays in could not be worse preparation for getting into the League, as other posters have said. Taking off and running on half of your plays is hazardous to your health in the NFL, where he will most certainly NOT outweigh the Ray Lewises of the world by 30 pounds like he did last night.

Also, think about what not being able to get under center may have cost Oregon last night. Think they might have avoided the safety if their first move had not been to snap the ball backwards 5-6 yards against a DL they could not block?

There are others, but these will do.

Threads like this (or more accurately, certain posts within this thread...) are NOT and will hopefully never be what Alabama stands for.
