I dont know how many were watching the coverage of the UF senior running out. CBS decided to spotlight the eye gouger and timbo. I cant believe it, you would thing it was the rapture. I guess now that timbo is done, I will just have to stop watching college football {ad naseum}. Whatever will Verne and and his little buddy do??? I hope we kick his can all the way back to Gainsville! :BigA:

Didn't watch Gameday today, nor the cbs pregame stuff. The reason is, I'm waaaaay past tired of the adulation of St. Tim (peace be upon him). Personally, I'm digging OU's thrashing of OSUw. I'll worry about St. Tim & the eye gouger next week.

Unfortunately, I don't think we are done with King Tebow... He will not make it in the pros so CBS or ESPN will probably hire him as a commentator. Just think we can enjoy insight by TEBOW while watching BAMA games....

The opinions a split on this. I fall on the opposite side of yours. I think Tebow is already as qualified as one third of the starting QBs in the league. Only time will tell.

I married a Gator (well, at least she's from a Gator family/Jacksonville, FL) and you would not believe how close to accurate that statement is. Her friends facebook statuses are past the point of unhealthy obsession.

I really don't know what they will do next year.

Did anyone see Tebow's 47 yard run where he fumbled. On the replay, you can obviously see him grab the facemask of the defensive player?? Or did I imagine that?? And there was no penalty?? Danielson was talking about he would go in for one series, Danielson said Tebow wants to go out on a score.

Tebow was asked about his detractors this morning on Gameday. Well this is why he has detractors in the first place. It's because CBS and ESPN are in love with this guy. He is a decent guy but man give me a break, I can only take so much of the Tebow-fest. I am going to be so happy next season when that guy is finally out of NCAA football.

The Tebow worship is off the charts tonight. You would think he's the second coming or something. "The greatest player to ever play for The University of Florida." What a flippin' insult to all the other great players who've gone through that program.

I like Tim Tebow. I think he's beyond being a fine young man. He's certainly proven he's a fantastic football player with a lot of natural talent and a seemingly bottomless well of passion for the game, and for his faith.

That's all wonderful. But do we really need to go through the "beatification" of his college career before it's even over? The way sports media have covered him, especially over the past two seasons, has just been the definition of hyperbole. Thank God it's almost over.

After Tebow is gone, I do not know if I can ever bring myself to watch college football again. The greatest player ever, in college football. I am sorry , I am breaking down in tears and can't see what I am typing. Will the Pope make "HIM" a Saint? Will college football ever be the same? Will the price of circumcisions go up? Will Tebow start his own religion? What will the college football commentators do from now on? Will #15 be retired entirely from college football? Will the jump pass be eliminated? well im bit suprised because barnhart, danielson, brando, and i can't remember the other guy in the studio (can't remember his name of the other guy in the studio.) really made it sound like alabama had a great chance to win. Take it for what its worth.
