  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

"several setbacks" aka contractors screwed up.

Not necessarily. I am in construction estimating and have seen a lot of bad engineering in the last few years.

The influx of "kids" into the field that are drawing/"designing" without field knowledge is abysmal...

Also, the weather as you know DZYN, has been a bit unusal. ;)

In addition, the school might have dragged their feet on issuing an NTP.

Lots of variables.

I am blaming everyone but the architect. They are flawless and perfect every single time.

When I was teaching at Va Tech, every on-campus construction project would start in late August. The first step would be to block off faculty parking. The second step was to cut down trees somewhere else on campus.
It used to chap my hide that they always started in late August. One of the things about academic life is that it is predictable. I can tell you right now, that in mid-May 2035, campus is going to empty out and stay empty until late August. That is not because I am a genius (although I am), it is just that life on campus is that predictable. So contractors, design your dadgum project with that in mind. You must start the construction the Monday after graduation. Instead, over and over, these knuckleheads would start construction in late August.
