Basically, by looking at the two different years it can be noted that the majority of these top rated quarterbacks don't turn out to be stars. And guys rated seventh have just as good of a shot to be a star as the top rated guy.
Amen to that! What struck me more than the names was the fact that I'd never heard of the vast majority of them. Exceptions here and there, sure, but for the most part, I don't know them.
So I'm with the minority...If Smelley is that highly rated and wants to come, sign him. I can't see that he has significantly lesser odds of success than Tebow. And there's no question he bleeds crimson and white.
