If you know someone who enjoys cooking (or collecting recipes), a subscription to Taste of Home would make a much appreciated Christmas gift! The recipes are easy, and the dishes delicious!

I have hinted for a subscription to Southern Living. I used to get it but let my subscription expire when I moved. We do get Better Homes And Garden which has a few good recipies.

Check out www.cooking.com for Christmas specials on Kitchen stuff. I have bought quite a bit form them so I can highly recommend them.

A Taste of Home looks like a good magazine.

It works out really well for my Mom. We give her Southern Living & Taste of Home for her birthday in Sept., then for Christmas, we give her Good Housekeeping. She loves them all.

I'm not entirely convinced I could live without my Southern Living subscription. My husband forgot to renew me one year, causing me to miss a couple of issues, and I felt all out of sorts!

Gosh! What a good child you are giving poor O' mom mags for birthday's and christmas. She must be really proud of you! :rolleye2: I am saying this in jest you know :D

Oh shut up Warrior .... ;)

My mother is so difficult to shop for -- she either already has it, or doesn't have a need for it! It's was actually her own idea that the grandchildren get her magazine subscriptions. Besides, it truly is the gift that keeps on giving .... for 12 straight months!

And just to set the record straight ... I am a very good daughter!

The hint for Southern Living was dropped a while ago and I have added Coastal Living to my Christmas wish list. I know I'm hard to buy for but I love books and magazines.
