Re: Clinic,,,

Strong lineup for sure . Gotta like CNS & CGS wrapping up the Friday schedule . Looks to be top-notch with a very interesting list of guests coaches . Thanks for posting the order of events .

Re: Clinic,,,

Marcus Boyles from WCHS is the coach at the High School I went to. He is an excelent coach. I think he is something like 64-5 while he has been here. He'e won three of five state championships and won it this year. I hope maybe we can start picking up some players from here. Unfortunately we sent two to Auburn but I'm hoping maybe this will help change that a little bit. We have a running back thats going to be a junior this year who is absolutely amazing. Everygame is like a hi-light film for him.

Is your RB listed on rivals or scout? Has Bama showed interest? I know CNS likes a lot of stud backs and they are looking early. It would be great to get an early commit from him.:BigA:

Re: Clinic,,,

I don't believe so. His name is Tracey Lampley. He's smaller 5"8 170. He has such a tremendous work ethic. He runs over and through lineman like its nothing he just doesn't quit. I talked to one of our coach's and told him he needed to send him and two other receivers we had to Alabama and he laughed and said well they would keep tracey but they would send the other two back. They are all just really impressed by the amount of effort he puts forth. I don't know exactly how fast he is or anything but I go to every game and I saw him break at least 5 or 6 80yd runs. He returns kicks and punts as well.

Re: Clinic,,,

I'd give anything to be able to take a couple days and hear those men talk football. I think I'll see if Bama has an opening in the phrenology dept.

Re: Clinic,,,

open to the public?

I have never been to a clinic (and I have been to dozens) that was closed to anyone. If you pay the money then you can attend as far as I know. I know that up north that pee-wee/slash youth coaches go to clinics.

Most fans are bored by clinic talk, it is not like listen to the "experts" on ESPN and there are NO cool graphics. Alot of coaches are bored by talks if they do not apply to what they are doing or coaching.:BigA: :BigA: :BigA: :BigA:

How much does it cost for a ticket to this event? Is there a website or phone number where I can find out more? And I wonder if the coaches will take some time to sign a few autographs.

Interesting that two of the HS coaches conducting sessions are from Thomasville and Sweetwater - 2 smaller schools in SW Alabama that are each others' rival. They must be playing some pretty good ball down there.

They always play good football down there. I played for Thomasville and for one year, Stacey "Bug" Luker was my teammate. Then they reopened Sweetwater and he went back...so them we played and beat them. haha

I suspect his (Bug's) presence is, to some degree, to endear his star running back to us.
