EDIT: It's not working now for me so maybe I made up the site even though I was on it earlier this morning.

Re: College Gameday???

I think you are right. I don't see them being in town til the LSU game.
I came to this conclusion on Jan 4th. I do not think they have been to a campus twice in one year. But weirder things have happened. Ahem, Saban HC at Bama.

Re: College Gameday???

They could go to Jacksonville in two weeks, and then come to Tuscaloosa for the LSU game.

They had a Va Tech game two straight weeks already this season.
(Blacksburg then Baton Rouge)

Re: College Gameday???

I only see two games between ranked opponents. And since they were just at Baton Rouge, Gameday should come here. I'd be a great Saturday if they did, curse or no curse.

But I bet they go to the Penn State @ Michigan game instead.

From Tigerforums.com:

For the record, they DO go 2x in a year.

94- Nebraska 2
95- Colorado 2
97- Florida and Michigan 2. Michigan was also featured when they played at Michigan St and Penn St. and then again in the Rose Bowl.
99- Florida 2. Might even be 3 but the location of their game against Ga. wasn't clear.
2000- Miami 2
2001- Nebraska 2
2002- Tennessee and Ohio St. 2
2003- Ohio St and Michigan 2
2004- USC 2
2005- Va Tech 2 (One of those was a game scheduled in Baton Rouge but moved due to Rita)
2006- Ohio St and USC 2

Sidenotes- There are some teams that could claim a 3rd appearance but those were conference championships and not "home" games. The 1996 Gameday in Baton Rouge led to ESPN installing the net you often see. LSU fans were po'd that Corso had picked Bama and things were thrown at him including a golf ball which is still owned by the LSU Athletic Dept.

Re: College Gameday???

Not that I'm superstitious or anything :), but I don't think we've won a game they've been to, have we?
Don't remember but I do know this, we have a new sherriff in town and superstition is something I don't buy into. We just need to win and let the media spin things however they want. We stay undefeated by the time LSU game rolls around it will be big. Bigger than ESPN game day!

Re: College Gameday???

CNS is 4-1 with the Gameday Crew.

Michigan State -->

vs Michigan 7-23 Loss 1997 (E.Lansing)
vs Michigan 34-31 Win 1999 (E.Lansing)

LSU -->

vs Georgia 17-10 Win 2003 (Baton Rouge)
vs Oklahoma 21-14 Win 2003 (Sugar Bowl)
vs Oregon St 22-21 Win 2004 (Baton Rouge)

So 4-1 counting all, or 3-1 on Campus...

Who cares if gameday and the talking heads come to T-Town? As long as we're winning, folks, lets just keep doin' what we're doin' best. RTR!:BigA:
