College Gameday in Tuscaloosa for Bama/UGA

Of course the Gameday "curse" has nothing to do with superstition.

By definition, if Gameday is on campus, it's because we're playing a big game with a quality, ranked opponent.

Under the previous regime, we almost always lost those kind of games, Gameday or not.

It's great that they're coming this Saturday ... good for recruiting and national reputation.

I agree Gameday here is not a good thing its a GREAT thing!!

Alabama's Gameday Record when coached by a non-national championship coach: 0-4

Alabama's Gameday Reord when coached by a national championship coach: 3-2

We actually have a winning record on Gameday when you factor in the coaching. Just to put things in better perspective for all you gloomers out there.

If we are undefeated with LSU when our game rolls around with them...no doubt in my mind that we will have Gameday again in Tuscaloosa. It's time to show everyone that we are Alabama...and that we've come to collect.

The last time I was this fired up for a Bama vs. UGA game fRan and Gameday were on campus. Of course the gang all predicted a Bama victory. It was a disappointing day.

Keep your feet on the ground, Tiders, and play like you did the first half vs. Arky!

Girl in my office just said that ESPN announced it.

Wow! I heard it @ 7 AM (CDT) on headliner news from T-Town radio station....that ESPN was televising game @ 5:45 pm (CDT). Are you all now saying they are making Ala-GA a 'gameday' production?

My personal opinion is I understand the hunger from fans, but might be in overall 'process' best interest to focus on getting to next step rather than avenging perceived slights! :)

Kickoff is at 6:45 pm CT. Yes, ESPN's Gameday is coming to T-town.

The University's Sports Information Office has not heard this. I would think they would be the first to know. Not saying they aren't coming but it is just not confirmed

The shot in the arm of publicity is not limited just to Saturday. Those capitalist devils will be promoting Bama-Georgia all week trying to get people to watch. There'll be a parade of "Saban-has-Bama-back-in-the-rankings-in-only-three-weeks" comments and stories.

Tuscaloosa will be the epicenter of the college footballl world this week. Meanwhile, Auburn at 1-2 will be battling North Central Regional Tech ... or whomever they're playing this week ... in a game even the Auburn fans will have trouble caring about.

We may have various and sundry grudges against ESPN, but believe me, this is good for the Bama program.
