Colorado Buffoons…

Hmmm.....

David Braun (like Deion) took over a 1-11 team.

Unlike Deion, he:
- went 8-5
- beat Utah
- won his bowl game
- wasn't SI Person of the Year
- didn't announce his race to the world
- didn't build a team using the portal prinarily
- didn't get hype beyond accomplishment
- played in a tougher conference

I'm sure there's some reason why Braun's name isn't known for his college rookie season like Deion, but I'll be damned if l can figure out what it is.

One talked, one accomplished.

I've been under a rock for 9 weeks, what happened? Colorado was going to be a playoff contender and Sanders was going to NY as a Heisman finalist.

I really miss the days of real analysis and discussions from the media. It would have tempered the hype around the first 3 games. These days it is all about hot takes and likes.
ESPN is a prime example. Entertainment comes before sports, even in the name.

Seeing this thread for first time. On a lighter note, I immediately envisioned Deon's response :ROFLMAO:

It’s all “what’s trending now” - if you’re a day late, you’re a million clicks short.
