Commitment text alerts ?

I heard Chris Stewart mention during a Bama B-Ball game that you can get text alerts on all commitments from AT&T by texting "sign" I think it was to a number. Does anyone know the number ? I searched around and couldnt find it anywhere, any help would be great as I will be at work Wednesday without internet access.

There are a number of different sites that will be doing this on Wednesday. They include Scout, Rivals, ESPN, TideSports, and even AL.com, I believe. They should have the information on how to sign up on their sites.

The one by AT&T is you text "sign" to 72645.
you can also text "tide" to the same number for all kinds of sports updates.

Thanks for this info. I recently got unlimited texting on our phones (we have daughers 17 and 21, lol), so I signed up for recruiting info and just got my confirmation text.

I'm getting nervous from reading the barn, LSwho and UcheaT recruiting boards!! According to them, we'll be lucky to hang on to DJ Fluker! :eek2:

Trust me, the absolute LAST place you want to get your recruiting info is from those boards.

Rolltide.com is the one I signed up for. You only get the Tide recruit info, as opposed to al.com where you get more messages than you care to sort through. I don't have unlimited text plan, but don't mind paying for 25 or 30 texts for one day.
