Obviously disappointed, but 'Bama was the better team on this evening. Thanks for all the 'Southern Hospitality' while posting on this board.
The game....well, both of our teams star duos came to play albeit not consistently on the SU side (warrick four second half points). Your third guy stepped it up (Davis), but our team showed again that it was missing a third option. McCroskey played well off the bench, but a threat like Billy E really would've helped tonight.
You guys really shot the lights out and opened up the zone like few others do. Tough defense as well. You are a well-rounded team that has a solid future in front of it...maybe even a shot at the Final Four.
That being said, it was painful to watch SU at times. Man, they looked sloppy. I don't think they played their best game. Hopefully, if Warrick comes back, we are a top tem (maybe five) team next year. Who knows...maybe you'll be there too.
Good luck against UConn. I am torn to root for 'Bama or UConn. I always pull for the BE, but it looks good if 'Bama does well and I have a lot of respect for the program and fans. You will have your hands full with UConn...IMO they are the head and shoulders more talented than the rest of the field. Good luck, you (and everyone else) will need it.
