Congratulations Arkansas, great game

Congratulations Arkansas on playing a great game. I had already prepared myself for a loss. You have a great team. Best of luck the rest of the way.

The pigs will probably lose a couple of spots in the rankings but really ought to go up. If Bama is a championship-level team, there's no reason why Arkansas should not be the #5 or #6 team in the country right now.
 
Yep, Arkansas played a whale of a game (especially in the first half), ya'll are definitely an improved team from a year ago. I could easily see ya'll winning out the rest of the way (assuming Mallett stays healthy).
 
Wow, Arkansas has one heck of a team. Petrino is building a powerhouse their, no doubt about it. Very impressed with the Arkansas fan base and the atmosphere at the road game, and very pleased to get out of their with our heads on. Good luck Arkansas, you made a believer out of me.
 
Arkansas played good football. If Ark. had a great Rushing game to go with their Passing game... Nuff Said.
Arkansas gave us more than we wanted for 30 minutes.
 
Not only does Arkansas have one heluva good team, they also have some of the best fans. I would like to personally thank all the Hog Fans that have been on here the last week or so. Enjoy having you guys and hope you stay around.

Just got home from the game. Very hard fought. I sat in the Bama section, and must say everyone showed much class.

This game reminded me of two prize fighters, one the young, talented guy marked for stardom, verses the older more experienced world champion that's been thru the wars. The ole veteran one yesterdays battle.

That loss really hurt me. To know we were right there, toe to toe with the best team college football has to offer, and it really could have gone either way.

We are getting there. This game makes me think next year the reigns will be turned over to Brandon Mitchell over Tyler Wilson. Mitchell is big physical QB who can both run AND pass.

Our lack of a running game puts so much pressure on Mallett. We can still beat most, but to beat the BEST, you must do both.

But we're close, so very close to being an elite team, as Bama is.

Great come back Bama.

I lived in Arkansas for a couple of summers in the early 70's and have family in Little Rock and Jonesboro...along with a lot of Hog friends. Classy school with great supporters on every level. I fear you more than LSU because you have a coach who knows how to recruit and win. Good luck and keep the footballs flying...you are fun to watch when playing other teams.
 
Good game hogs. I knew your offense was good, but you got a good defense to boot. Petrino has gotten you guys farther along faster than I thought. Good luck for the rest of the year.
 
Thanks for the respect for Arkansas. Your team really proved they are number one in the land this weekend. I almost don't even feel bad about losing to the Tide, because you guys are just so freakin good...
 
Oh yeah, I did have one ....ed off Arkansas fan do donuts in my front yard after the game. He apologized this morning but I told him not to worry about it. I live on the back side of 6 acres and he lives in a subdivision. Pay back is coming. We had about 50 people over for the game (85% Hogs) and it was tough for us Bama fans for the 1st three qtrs

We understand. Fact is, losing a game like this is a stepping stone to figuring out how to win them. We had LSU on the ropes in 2007 and lost a game real similar to this one. This experience will help the Hogs deal with it the next time.
