I honestly don’t care how you label them. They basically used the same avenues in trying to gain popularity in that they went to places where they could find Gen Zers that couldn’t list 10 amendments even if you gave a cheat sheet and presented the magic trick of “see the liberal agenda is broken”. Kirk was far more committed to his craziness than Crowder and had a far bigger audience. But the point is he was a very controversial figure on the right, and for good reason

Did he deserve to get killed for spewing his rhetoric… no
What was his “craziness?

Well in a moment of national distress like this it would be good starting step to not use "radical left" in your measage to the nation when you dont even know the motives of the shooter. This is just more of the same and it will just further erode our personal and constitutional rights...

If he would have left those 2 words out I think he would have gotten solid agreement from most viewpoints.

President Trump from the Oval Office has just addressed the assassination of Charlie Kirk and declared he will go after those who perpetrate political violence.

"My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country."

"I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror."

"From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives. "

"Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died, the values of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law."

"His legacy will live on for countless generations to come. Today, because of this heinous act, Charlie's voice has become bigger and grander than ever before, and it's not even close. May God bless his memory. May God watch over his family."

This tragedy should be a moment for unity, yet it risks becoming fuel for deeper division. America cannot heal if we let grief and tragedy be weaponized. What we need now is compassion, courage, and leaders who will bring us together. What will it take before we finally say enough?

We could go the way of the UK and ban free speech. You down for that? You probably would be as long as it’s speech you don’t like.

See that is where you are wrong. This stuff has moved way past speech and ideas when it is actively being implemented and people are losing rights, being deported, having their cities occupied by the military, etc. Some people are going to snap if the doesn’t get ratcheted down.

also seeing how there is no suspect in custody, I’m not going to take the option of this being another R nut with a gun off the table yet.

Oh no you mean people here illegally are being deported. Heaven forbid. Who is losing their rights. I’m interested to know. Maybe you have a point there. Please elaborate. I’m so sorry DC is safer. What a terrible thing.

What was his “craziness?

Im not getting into it. He was a controversial figure and a controversial figure for a reason. That much is an undeniable fact. This thread is about a man getting shot and killed and not about conservatives whining about liberals not seeing the man like they see him or liberals listing all the things he said or done to make them mad.

We expect a utopian society when it comes to protecting 1A but we are okay with an imperfect world where people unfortunately die when it comes to protecting 2A. Kirk promoted as much and lived on the edge of this knife. This is the twisted world we live in.

Why is there a saying live by the sword and die by the sword? And what does the Bible say about our words?

Kirk was assassinated by someone who obviously should have not had a gun. No one should die for their words, but tragically he did.

Trump doesn't care about political violence. He just cares about violence to those he is friends with.

Just ask him about January 6. Trump wanted to hang his own VP.

Should Charlie Kirk have been shot? No.
Should I feel sympathy for him? No.

Both things can be true. Kirk built his platform off of hate and resentment. This is an actual quote of his: "If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified."

Kirk has also said that "we" cannot allow mass shooting victims to emotionally hijack the narrative.

I'm glad MAGA is now so concerned because they sure didn't care when Melissa Hortman was assassinated. In fact when asked about it Trump just decided to rag on Tim Walz. MAGA sure didn't care when Paul Pelosi was attacked. Proof? I quote:

Charlie Kirk calls for his audience to post bail for Pelosi attacker: "If some amazing patriot out there in San Francisco or the Bay Area wants to really be a midterm hero, someone should go and bail this guy out...Bail him out and then go ask him some questions"

I’d just like to see message boards and social media closed down, silenced, for a day or two. I think we are all doomscrolling too much, and it’s affecting our mental states, individually and collectively.

If he tried to advance the message of Jesus, he didn’t deserve to be killed today or any day.

Kind of like Tampon Tim Walz scrolling through his phone to see if Trump was dead? Of course Tampon was a part of the worst run for the presidency in US history. Cackling Ho and Tampon Tim. 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️
