Post counts are like the rules in Fight Club. ;)

Y'all are going to help CC out though. I'm getting ill looking at it in all these threads. Every time I see it Rob Bramlett's call of the run back starts playing in my head. Good grief do we need to beat the ever loving crap out of them next year.
 
My question is why would they spread rumors just get ratings? Oh, that is right "DRAMA"
If Saban is to lie as in "IF" not saying he is lying. I never understood why a coach just come out & just say he is offered another job.
What bothers me is allot of coaches say this is my "HOME" well if that is the case then you would not take a offer somewhere else.
It's all about the $$$ the sad part you want more of it & GREED controls you. All about self-control.

Because there are some out there who continue to stick by the "Saban to Texas is a done deal" no matter what the Sabans say. The new guy on the CBS pre game show with Brando and Tillman is swearing by it. A few weeks ago he point blank said on air that he spoke with someone within the Texas program who said it is a done deal. Both parties will deny, deny, deny until it is time to announce. So we'll see.

Oh ok. So the extension deal is a smokescreen or is it a last ditch effort to keep him?

To be honest my opinion is he has no plans of going anywhere. If he does he will basically have the Miami situation all over again which we all know how much he hated that. He and his wife have emphatically said enough times ("I'm too damn old to start over...) they weren't going anywhere that them bolting would be some major egg on their face that I'm sure he doesn't won't to go through again.
 
I've never understood why anyone would get excited about their post count. I used to hang out on a board that had some kind of a glitch and everybody's count went back to zero. You wouldn't believe how ticked off some people got. People even threatened to quit the site if the post counts weren't restored.
 
I really thought all of this Saban to UT talk was all but over, it's starting to sound like it's still got legs. I thought the contract extension would kill all of the Texas talk!!!
 
Great. And I just spent all weekend telling everyone not to worry. Well I'll say this, IF he does leave after what he has out out publicly the public sentiment will not be pleasant. If he thinks he looked bad after Miami he'll NEVER hear the end of it especially from the national media.
