They'll still get some of the dream team players but just not all of them which I don't think anyone but die hard UGA fans thought they could achieve that. Great pick up for Bama and he was very active all week in the UA game

Huge pick-up for 'Bama here, he was basically our #1 Jack target outside of Clowney, who I've really never felt was much of a feasible option. This kid is practically a clone of Courtney Upshaw, so with him and Hubbard at the position that really firms things up. We needed to add another top-end guy after Stinson kind of fizzled out at Jack and had to move to DE, and this is basically that guy.

More good news... when it comes to breaking up the UGA "Dream Team," there is a marginal benefit to be had here. Snagging one guy only increases the chances that we can also pull Crowell and / or Mitchell.

Rome is going to UGA at least and he's apart of the dream team. Crowell is a toss up but we'll have to wait on that. Leaning towards UGA for him though due to him wanting to be a freshmen all american and prolly not seeing too much of the field at Bama early. I see him getting more opportunities at UGA earlier than UA

He must have been flipping a coin with Big Al on one side and the script "A" on the other. This is a huge pick up. Roll Tide
Actually, reports from Georgia indicate Xzavier did flip a coin, five times as promised. The side displaying the Walk of Champions was considerably more impressive than the one with two hedges and a doghouse.

Do you think Dickson performance at UA game and during practice could catapult him to a 5* status? He record some sacks and tackles for loss and looked great during the practices. Rivals has him at 135 nationally so I would have to think he at the very least makes the top 100 with that performance but could be possible to move up star rating.

Not that it's really that important, we got him and it's up to CNS now but it's fun to see how great our recruiting class can be rated

CS.......you think if UGA has a subpar year next year that losing some of the top recruits will cost him his job? You'd have to think if he starts losing recruits that he will get on thin ice.
Not Surf, skip, and I'm not a friend of the Georgia AD, BUT . . .

Richt, though respected and liked by the Georgia administration, finds himself at the crossroads formed by his team's mediocre performance and his fans' delusions of grandeur. With the East as weak as many of us have ever seen it, how UGA managed to lose more games than it won is a monumental accomplishment.

Georgia, under Richt's great moral leadership, also captured the Fulmer Cup. The Atlanta columnists are all over him. He has been forced to promise widespread changes for the second consecutive year, and this Dream Team schtick has only added to the expectations. Georgia already has a good recruiting class -- recruiting has never been UGA's problem -- and Richt's still going to sign Jay Rome, Damian Swann and likely Ray Drew and Crowell.

Even so, if Georgia has another year even close to resembling the past two, there is no way he survives.

The only thing I learned new about Dickson was that he doesn't quit until the whistle blows. He made a couple of big TFL long after the snap and a long way from the LOS.

When you are having to make those kinds of promises about something that is not within your direct control, like recruiting, the end is probably near.
