I don't see him leaving before next season. I'll also say something that I've believed for a few years now - you don't need to be the most polished QB to run that offense, which is just fine for Malzahn. Also, for all of the Marshall-can't-throw types, he made some throws that were completed despite Alabama having coverage. I will agree, over the course of this game especially, that he just couldn't believe that his offense could be stopped from time to time. It was incredulous to him. I don't think he respects the needs of the defense enough to want to get a better DC simply because he just needs to outscore the other team. Long passes aside, Alabama played pretty solid defense for most of the game. I think Eli mentioned that Auburn only had 40-something yards rushing in the second half after accumulating 100+ in the first half - that's awesome in today's game. Again, I don't think Gus leaves, but some of y'all might want to re-think the "domination" part of the rivalry. Auburn isn't going to just lie down.
