terrible play for a QB that isn't capable of executingdumb playcall
I have some LSU friends down here who are really miffed that, going forward, they won't be playing us every year. I don't think I'll miss them too much.I cannot believe I am pulling for lsu. I need a shower.
I hope they get wipe out in the Playoffs from a non P4 team!!!OU seems to be a team riding a HUGE slice of fortune...yet again they survive due to a blown coverage and a poor 4th down call
honestly, we are all surprised they even kept the game close as it was esp. in NormanWay to choke LSU. Thanks for nothing.
And we've put ourselves in this position. We must win the next two to make the playoffs.
You make a great point! They are so excited and they aren’t even playing for a championship of any kind next week. They will all be at the football facility watching while other teams in their conference play for a championship.Look at how much celebration OU and other teams are doing today. Not because they have won a conference title or punched their ticket to a conference title game, but because they have most likely punch their ticket to the playoffs.
And they get to sit at home next week.
In this new landscape of college football, I think it is time for conferences to seriously contemplate the future of conference championship games.
Teams who haven’t made a CCG should not be celebrating more than teams that have to play again next week. If Bama wins tonight, I wish we could sit at home next week with our playoff ticket punched. Why would Ole Miss want to play next week and potentially lose their way out of the playoffs?
It's time to rethink these games. Go back to just declaring a champ based on regular season conference records. The SEC was the first to play a CCG and they should become the first to drop the game. But I know it will never happen because of the money being made.
That's where the play-in weekend can accomplish both ... make more money, guarantee spots, and make everyone play one more game in between season and playoffLook at how much celebration OU and other teams are doing today.
