You can vote on the best SEC team ever it has the 1992 , 1961 , 1973 , 1978 , 1979 and 1934 Alabama teams on there . Alabama 1992 was leading when I voted .

As usual espn has it wrong not to include the 1966 team in the poll. In my opinion and I believe CB's this was the best team he ever had.

A great team and those short jerseys looked so cool. I remember cutting off shirts so my belly button would show like theirs.

I was born in 84 so 92's the only one I saw...but that's definately the best team I ever saw...that defense could have competed in the NFL! Anyways, my step dad bought the "Century of Champions" video collection when I was young and made sure that I watched every one of them over and over so I consider myself well versed for a twenty-something...but I bow to the wisdom of you guys that were actually there...I'll be reading the comments of all you old...er guys and wishing I was around back then. 92!!!! That was our only national title since the Bear era. And it was one that he would havebeen proud of.

The 61' Bama team is considered by many as one of the greatest teams ever, they beat the crap out of everybody. However, the 66' Bama team was considered by Bear as the greatest team he ever coached. Amazing we didn't get a NC out of that. I am sure that it was not because of biases, considering we were the only undefeated team and beat the crap out everybody including Nebraska in the Sugar Bowl.
