ESPN Gameplan Online

What ever the setting on your personal computer that will allow the biggest font setting. For some reason the the less pixels you use the better the picture.
I believe that the first time I ran the progran that they use.(they will check your computer to insure that you meet the minium requirement) they put up a warning message to rest my computer to the lower level to vet the picture better.
hope this helps.

So it's low resolution to get big letters?
And were you using a tube tv, lcd, plasma, or something else?

If you back track this thread. I used a 20 monitor and was able to have a 8" screen. I also hooked a computer to a 36 " flat screen tube tv and was able to get a 20" screen.
the lower the settings the easier it is for the computer to process the picture on live action video. The more pixels the slower the picture will seem due to the higher refresh rate required.
You will find out what I mean when you hit the expand button to make the video full screen. the picture will be blurry and will seem choppy.

In addition to the Bama/Vandy game being picked up by GP, it looks like both of the first two Lincoln Financial games (Georgia/W. Kent, Aub/Ms. St.) are on the GP schedule - this is great news for those of us outside the LF and FSS regions! There could end up being 5 or 6 Bama games on Gameplan this season if they keep it up!

I just ordered the season package - looks to definitely be worth it over the individual games at this point.

Opening weekend I'll get Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, and West Virginia games, none of which I'd get out here in LA without GP! Second weekend looks like at least Bama, Aub, Florida, Tenn, Florida St., Michigan. Nice!!

Now if only they'd buck up and put all the GP games on HD!

I live in GA and its 20.00 per game and 100 for the season. Its worth it in the long run but alot of the broadcasts are not in HD and that sux

Actually, NONE of the gameplan games will be in HD, even if the're broadcast in another region in HD on ABC, because they the GP channels are not on HD channels on any cable/sat systems that I'm aware of...

I just got completely screwed by Comcast today. I called up a few weeks ago asking if I could order Gameplan and they said "sure, you just need to have digital cable."

So I sucked it up and ordered digital cable for the house. Then after having them out here 3 times (because in the process of setting up the digital cable, they knocked the cable out of the rest of my house) - I called back to order Gameplan and they tell me "Sorry, it's not available in your area."

The only bright side is that I called up so livid, and told them that I was switching to Direct TV, and they gave me $25 off my cable each month for a year. Little consolation though considering I am now resigned to Gameplan online.

I have been trying to order the single day gameplan for this Saturday, but when I attempt to order the Hawaii Vs Alabama game it says that its only available in Alabama and Hawaii. What's up with that? I have been on the phone with Dish Network all morning trying to sort this out. They will gladly sign me up but will not guarantee I can watch the game and it is non-refundable. (Where's the icon of the little guy jumping up and down pulling his hair out?) :)

The Pay Per View is only available in Hawaii and Alabama. The Gameplan broadcast is only available outside of Hawaii and Alabama. It's blacked out in Alabama and Hawaii.

If you are outside of Alabama and Hawaii, and you are trying to order Gameplan, and not the PPV, you will be able to view the game.

Thanks Vertical,

I just placed my order for the GamePlan package. I sure hope it doesn't get screwed up. My son with be in Tuscaloosa for the game. I wish it could have been possible for me to make it to the game with him. I will happily settle for the gameplan ppv if it is all the best that I can do.

Just bought my one-day pass for tomorrow's game. Hope it looks good and that there are no problems. If it's acceptable, I'll have no trouble doing it more frequently now, but I was scared to shell out so much when I might not be happy with it.

Charter didn't have it in my area. Finally get an HDTV and no game to watch this weekend. Well, none that's Alabama anyways :)
