I'm not much on fast foods, however, Hardee's thick burger is probably one of the best out there.

We were so excited to finally get a Steak & Shake here in Mobile a few years ago. Then on our first visit, I was shocked to see the hamburger patty no bigger than a small McDonalds hamburger. Very disappointing.</font>

I've never heard of Back Yard Burger.
A little ashamed to admit that from time to time, I like those little square Krystals! Back in our younger, partying days, we used to call them "gut busters"!</font>![]()

It's been 7 to 8 years since I have eaten any kind of fast food. One of my favorite's was Wendy's (chain) and Gurney Burgers (BIG ole burgers) was my local favorite.

I'd have to say Hardees mondo burgers. The beef is excellent. They're come light years from where they were.
I loved Krystals when I was in Tuscaloosa. It used to crack me up that on Friday and Saturday nights in Tuscaloosa at midnight (or later), that place would be packed with folks a little (or a lot) "toasted" that came in there to get something to eat. They were good. However, my son went to the one in Huntsville (close to Madison Square Mall) and got food poisoning a few years ago. I doubt he'll ever eat one of those again. </font>
