I don't eat a lot of seafood, but the Fish Market in Hoover, and Joe's Crab Shack were both good. The BBQ Shrimp at both places were awesome.

In Mobile, I'd have to say my favorites are:
1) Lighthouse in Irvington, 2) Original Oyster House (both on the Causeway and in Gulf Shores), and 3) Nan Sea's near Dog River.
A few of my fav's don't even favor a restaurant on the outside -- but hmmmm, once you get inside, it's a different story!</font>![]()

Too many rats crawling on the floor, and bugs in the food!
Just kidding! They just didn't do enough business to keep them afloat.</font>![]()

Crimson Surfer: The Wintzell family sold out a few years back, and their food just hasn't been the same.
They also have an 2nd restaurant now in west Mobile, but it's nothing like the "old" one used to be downtown.
However, they do still serve oysters "fried, stewed and nude!"</font>![]()

Mary Mahoney's is good.
Is it Captain Dave's or Andersons that's in Destin? It's good.

It's not worth the $19.95.mruafan said:The Riverside Diner on highway 280 by the Coosa River Bridge in Childersburg. They have the best seafood buffet in Alabama and believe me, I've tryed them all.
If you are ever in East Tennessee You've got to try Cowboy's Seafood near Seviereville. Take the Seviereville exit off of I-40. Go south to the second light and turn left.(there is a sign) Go about 5 miles. It will be on the right. This is where the locals go to eat seafood.
