Finally a reporter with some brains.

You will have a little more respect and wonder not how the Tide could match up with Southern California or Texas, but how the Trojans or Longhorns would cope with this defense.

liked this little snippet at the end myself :)

I think he was referring to the last three games, where deep passes have been overthrown, darby has really not been able to turn on the afterburners and so on. What he is alluding to is that these things might fall into place then you will have an awe inspiring offensive output.

I understand his optimism for the Tide. You've heard that defense wins championships and our defense has given up 19 points in the last 5 games. 4 of those against SEC opponents.

Our defense will give the team a chance to win on Saturday. If the offensive line can hang in there and if Brodie can get back on track, we'll win.

I've been thinking about the Miami game lately as well. If the season ends the same way, the only difference will be that we're just beginning......

Yea, great article. I also have a feeling that the offense is going to break out this weekend. I hope I'm right.

You will start to look differently at Alabama early Saturday evening. The Tide will be 10-0 and you will remember this is the program of Bear Bryant and Joe Namath and 12 national titles.

The Notre Dame Broadcasting Corp. says we have 12. :biggrin2:

How come when a columnist writes...

a glowing article about the Tide, he is a genius and knows what he is talking about, But when one writes a article on why Bama will lose or doesn't think they are as good as some other teams, he is an idiot, drunk, or a Finebaum wannabe.

Let's get over it guys, opinions vary. I am not going to get upset at what any of them have to say or get overly happy either.
