But, I loved the Mike Gottfried/Ron Franklin broadcast team. I liked them as much as the Keith Jackson/Frank Broyles broadcast teasm of the '70's/'80's.

You are correct. I also believe if he didn't have that brace on he would have lead the country in INTs he dropped several that year. Man he was fun to watch.

Yep . I remember when I stopped counting after his 6th or 8th droppped INT . At the time , it was only mid-season .

Freddie was always one of my favorites, and I thought he was a little underrated on the stout defenses he was a part of. You have to give him some credit for playing with that hurt elbow all season.

The job he did covering Chad Jackson in the 05 flarduh game might have been his most impressive day at the Capstone.
