Well I remember that a lot of people pointing out legitimate reasons but another poster saying all we were doing was making a excuses and not admitting that Bama just wasnt all that good.

Get pressure and blow up any offense. Something we did not do at all. When we did, we got an INT to ice the game that the refs took away.

GA getting consistent pressure, thats the difference.

It’s a shame when one horrible call can literally change the outcome of a game. Honestly that one call might have changed the entire playoff landscape. Simply cannot be allowed.

I never understood why people thought this game would be close. Too many casual fans just look at box scores but not the context.

Kinda like how too many casual fans looked at the box scores last year before the SECC game last year and concluded that Georgia was going to curb stomp Alabama…

People read games incorrectly alot. It happens. Fans make assumptions based on the previous 3 weeks all the time. And they look foolish alot but who really cares. If Alabama were to play Tennessee 10 times they probably win 8 and by 2-3 scores in most of them. We had a horrible 1st quarter and some pretty uncharacteristic mistakes throughout the game and everyone concluded Alabama sucks and Tennessee is a 2019 LSU team. Really the truth is more Tennessee was peaking early and Alabama was still trying to find itself.

Personally I thought Georgia would win big, but ultimately I didn’t care. Because whoever we get in Atlanta we will beat. But I’m more worried about tonight and next week to really care about who wins between two teams I absolutely hate.
