Now we have to be worried about GM's leaving as much as we do HC's. It feels like I took a sleeping pill and woke up in another football universe.
I’m pretty much numb to all of it right now.

Teams are openly doing what we got put on probation for and what AU got away with wrt to Cam.

All these new ridiculous sounding ‘Positions’ and Titles.

‘Collectives’ which is basically organized Bagmen.

I hate it.

CFB as we have known it and grown up with it has been completely destroyed.

Players can almost just come and go as they please between programs at anytime.

Right now is the least interested and invested I have ever been and it’s honestly just depressing.

Its alright Tusk. I felt the same way my first time back to the Capstone for a home game 12 years ago when I saw the Quad had practically become a Tent City on Game Day. The joys of our childhood growing up were transitioning to Big Business even then.
Times, they are a changing.

I get that a guy in a role like this is pretty much required now, and he seems to be really good at it, but I still hate that the sport is at a point where this is needed.
Me too, but the way I read it, Courtney is basically the business manager for the team, handling all the NIL stuff etc, so Coach can just coach. It's a new, but needed position due to all of the wonderful changes in college football. From what I can see, we have the best GM out there.

I have questioned what his role here at bama is, but now I understand. So many coaches have complained and rightfully so that the nil and portal deal is too much to handle along with the actual coaching aspect. Ckd says if u want a good deal , talk to my business manager. We can work it out. New world, but it's not good. What are we doing.

I do too, and I'm actually surprised Saban didn't have a position like this on his staff, considering how ahead of the curve he usually was on things like this
