Doctors sign Rx for drugs for people every day. Doctors are no less human than the rest of us. They can be bought or influenced just as easily.

So, while my family is doing most of the right things now, we still have to decide what to do about family friends. Ours is the home that everyone comes to. We had about 10 friends spend at least 4 hours in our home yesterday. I want to tell them to all stay away for my wife's sake. My wife isn't ready to do that yet. I am worried about waiting.

Man, this thing is tough when you are trying to protect someone who has so much love for other people that she won't take adequate steps to protect herself. But I won't make this decision for her. She deserves my support in how she manages this.

This article does a great job using visual aids to explain just what is social distancing and how it works to flatten the curve. If you have skeptics in your life, I suggest you share. I am not dismissing this whole thing, and even still the article and it’s simulations we’re sobering.

The same doctor who says he is in excellent health after a diet of BigMac’s, no exercise, and a constant influx of stupidity delivered through his obsession of Fox News.

The only people in Trumps orbit who manage to retain their credibility all have to resign to maintain that credibility. Anyone who remains has to tow the line.

I agree - it does a great job illustrating what many may not be able to visualize for themselves.

Even Dr. Fausi was deflecting blame from Trump about the time it took to begin testing. Frankly, I respect what has has to say about this disease, but I lost respect for him as a person when he defended Trump yesterday.

i have long assumed that anything that i hear about trump coming from someone defending or supporting trump is a lie

To me it became clear that a man in his position must be willing to speak the truth regardless if it cost him his job or not. The job appears to have outgrown him and circumstances have overwhelmed him. There is a time for us all to give way and he is way past that time. IMO!

I don’t have a problem with a delay of the primaries. I do have concerns over what would happen if this was going on in November.

On the other hand, Dr. Fausi was the only one in the Trump administration telling the truth about this virus for the last month. When he talks about the virus, he is unflinching in his willingness to tell us the truth. It is only about trump that he lies.

We should demand that the government begin preparing now for an election process that allows for adequate social distancing. IMO, it should be either on-line or via mail. We need to do it now.

The date for federal elections is set in the constitution, so delaying that is gonna be a problem.

I wouldn't trust ANY online voting system at this point, let alone one cobbled together in a few weeks. States are just gonna have to print out a buttload of absentee ballots.

I knew he would walk a tightrope. If he didn't the country would lose him at a critical time. I want to read his book after he retires (like me - if ever). My daughter in Oakland is self-quarantining. Of course, she's in a hotspot...

A few weeks? It is March. We have 6 months. I could build it myself in my home in 6 months.
