As I said in another thread, the players who left eating their grapes and sitting in flashy cars just galvanized those that stayed. They lit a fire that mire than likely e the fire that burns them at some point.

…stupider…Tennessee is in pretty decent shape right now, bad as I hate to admit it. The barn on the other hand has MUCH bigger fish to fry. Carnell Williams.....Caddy....the biggest barner cheerleader on the planet...the one who stepped in after the Harsin disaster...him....HE doesn't want to be there anymore. He weathered some very tough storms there. He rode it out with them and now even he threw his hands up and said goodbye and good luck. That speaks volumes. So if they think that Saban retiring automatically turned us into Vanderbilt and them into Georgia....then they have somehow actually grown stupider
Jonah Williams is who I was thinking of. ThanksJake Browning is probably who you’re thinking of. Jonah Williams is also a Folsom High alumnus.
Mbakwe has been with Ryan Williams most of the day. I really hope he’s back on board. Signing Williams could be a huge momentum swing for us right now.2 players have tweeted "Big News Coming Soon!" I can only guess this is good news. Just don't know what. Anyone know what it might be about?

“I’m very interested in the new hire. Looking at his track record and what he’s done with offenses and how explosive they were,†Williams said. “That’s definitely something of interest to me, and I’d love to stay home. He told me that I was a priority for him with the way his offense is set up, and I would fit right in and make a lot of plays.â€Â
“He knows what it takes, and he’s going to continue the culture and the Alabama standard. It’s not going to drop off one bit, and he just wanted me to understand that I could have a big role in that. I have open eyes and I want to hear them out. It’s just about building a relationship as fast as possible because I have a relationships with other coaches around t he country, so if that’s somewhere I’m considering, I need to have that. I love Alabama, I was committed there for a year for a reason. They definitely still have a shot.â€Â...

I’m a little older than you and I remember when good seasons were few and far between. This program was in the wilderness after Stallings and before Saban. We have been incredibly spoiled over the last decade and a half. I feel that we have a coach who has what it takes to follow a legend
