Good News Thread

Watching M&M , Good News, College Football Playoffs National Championship Game is one year from today, we will have College Football into late January for foreseeable future. Maybe bad news?

Good news is Caleb Downs went to Ohio State instead of Georgia.
I hate that he left because he was such a good player. I looked forward to watching him become better and maybe become a Bama legend. Now, I will never see him play unless we meet OSU in the playoff. Oh well, I'm pumped about our new staff and look forward to watching other guys in crimson add to the Bama tradition.

mea culpa. I felt like the team was in good hands and was set to win.

i remember the Bryant years very clearly and everything in between. The good aspect of our situation now is that we will have renewed interest in the team and we will enjoy wins with gusto rather than a yawn.

One last reliance on Saban and his judgement would be to understand Saban would not let a poor choice take over his team…My guess is he’s fully on board with DeBoer.
Saban is definitely on board with DeBoer, and has let the players know that. And DeBoer is on board with Saban's new job as an advisor with an office in Bryant-Denny.

Mbakwe and DeVonta Smith been tweeting about big announcement soon??
Coming from Mbakwe I think that's hopeful news about Williams considering they seem tight.

He's announcing on his birthday on Feb. 9 (IIRC).

I'd love if he'd announce he's cancelling his final visits to Auburn and UTa and go ahead and "recommit" but I figure he'll take his visits and we'll just have to squirm some more.

At least the last few days have caused us to "get used to it."

Ryan Williams 5* recruit with internet Bama celebrity "Roll Tide Willie". Most adults have no idea who he is but every one of my Bama fan children (all 5 of them) know "Roll Tide Willie".
I'm almost 54 years old and I've never heard of him, Ryan Williams looks amused so I am too!

What that says to me concerning CKD is that he`s a man secure in his own skin. As such, he has the wisdom to be able to see the value in the offered assistance of the GOAT. On the flipside, I believe CNS will readily acknowledge that it`s now CKD`s team and that final decisions rest with him and are his responsibility. If that`s accurate, that could be a potent team.
