Great Article on Leigh Tiffin...

I agree when he says it's more accurate to kick it off the ground. At least I found it to be true in golf. On par 3's, I never used a tee, I would find a fluffy patch of grass and hit it off that. Seemed to help me a lot, especially on the longer irons.

I like his attitude of wanting to outdo his Dad. I'm pulling for him cause that'll mean we'll have us another great kicker.

Just as a refresher of the bloodline with that one...:biggrin2:

Alabama vs Auburn '85
The Drive and The Kick

You know, other than LIVE, I've seen that clip a million times and it NEVER gets old! What a game! It must be one of the greatest games I've ever seen thanks to that last drive. It shows many things about Shula, but it really shows his calm demeanor under pressure as well as his competative grit when they ran the reverse on 4th down and he flattened the lineman!

Thanks shulaball...I needed that!

Agreed, but I didn't see it live cause I kind of wasn't born yet...but it never gets old!!! Also by watching that I don't know if it fills my craving for Alabama football or makes it worse, but no matter what it feels good! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

:biga2:

Watched it on TV. My bro-in-law & me almost tore the house down. Scared my young son so bad, he started crying. Will never forget it!!!! This is "must see" viewing for the younger fans. It will help bring CMS's true caracter into focus.

Shula QB'd several memorable comeback victories. I also like the the one in Athens, forgot the year, where Ga. blocked a kick late to go ahead.
