I used to post on another Bama board but I'm here now. My late father and I attended our last meeting at your place. Just wanted to let you know how awesome it was to be around a great bunch of fans and say thanks for the good time. That was my last game I attended with my dad. I have to admit we had lived our lives hating Bama but after that became Bama fans. Granted I still want to see the Sooners beat you down in the Sugar Bowl but any other time I'll be cheering for you. Glad to see us meeting up again. Hope to see you at the game.
 
Welcome to Tidefans, Mick. I think you will find that most on here have a great deal of respect for the Sooners and their place in college football lore. On the flip side, I also think you will find some not so nice things will be said about your coach, who until recently, was held in pretty high regard around here. Anyway, welcome, follow the rules and you will have no problems. Boomer Sooner and Roll Tide.
 
I was at the game and remember how loud it was to how silent after the fake punt and the td pass on the next play. I heard how well we were treated at OU the year prior and made a point to welcome all of the OU fans I came in contact with that day in T-town. Two classic programs meeting again. It should be a good one.
 
I'd wish you good luck but I said that to some of my Auburn friends before the Iron Bowl and regretted it.

I wonder what Stoops has up his sleeve this time? That fake punt won that game for the Sooners. I was there and enjoyed every minute of that game until that fake punt.
 
I was also at the game in Norman the previous year. I guess we didn't have enough "Smoke Draws" to win that one.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, but not the final score.

Welcome OUMick to the site. I was in Moore a couple of years ago and made a stop by Boomer Sooner Stadium. We also visited The Cattleman, in the stockyards near OKC along with the Memorial. Loved the area and our visit to OU.
 
I'm in! Never quite understood the mass hate for Bama. As a Sooner fan I respect em as well. Went to the Michigan game in Dallas last year as OU was on a bye, and I wanted to see Bama play. Great fans! Hope to see some of you in New Orleans!
 
welcome aboard our site. was a boomer fan in the bud wilkinson days, and enjoyed their play in the barry switzer days. great talent. i was very miserable those two games we played you the last home and away. what stood out though was the sooner fans before, and after the game respect among us grew for several years with many on your fan base. welcome back, and expect a fun game, competitive.
