Greg Byrne calls for Alabama fans to 'fight back'

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Byrne needs to lean on these multi-millionaire players we have in the NFL to set up a fund that draws interest that would pay out to the Yea Alabama group.

ETA…now that I think of it, that might benefit those players in that they have a sizeable chunk of money they are donating on a yearly basis that could be a tax deduction. Or could it?
The IRS has already stated that most NIL collectives will likely not be able to remain as 501c3 organizations upon scrutiny, so it's unlikely to be a tax haven.

Congrats to your daughter! Many people don't realize that if your test scores are good enough and/or if you're a National Merit Scholar / award winner, Alabama can be free or close to it, even for out of state. It's a HUGE draw. Most schools don't do Merit-based scholarships anymore which is why Alabama attracts such great students in & out of state now.

In-state yearly total cost of attendance (tuition/room/board/fees) is $34K; out of state is $57K. Tuition itself is $11K / $33K, respectively.
I have one there now and another headed there…
I was on campus in the mid/late 80s.
Holy Toledo what a difference!!! I paid my way through working, no debt. That’s just not possible now.
We live in Georgia…so the bigger bite in the backside…🤣

My son is down there now in his second year. His 35 ACT got him free tuition only from UA. Fortunately he got some external scholarships as well.

I bet Byrne wishes he could claw back this post to the fans now. If he allows Milroe to come back next year he better install security fencing in front of the Mal Moore Complex as he might get fans fighting back...
