Has SEC Shorts run it's course?

Like a lot of things, they were definitely better way back when. This past year got stale quick. The Vandy pimp was overdone to the nth degree. And that bedtime stories one just came off as odd.They started these back in 2014, so after a decade, it's definitely not surprising that it feels like there has been significant dropoff. Of course, that's my .02. I talked to somebody the other day who said that they feel like they have only gotten better with time. I think they jumped the shark around 2019 or so

Agreed. They need to find more material but it is funny. Alabama fans just had less to laugh about this year.

They do too much rehashing. Like the classroom skits with offense/defense remedial lessons, the emergency room skits, them dressing up like they've been beaten up with bruises, on crutches, bandages.

Definitely more entertaining when we're undefeated. But I still enjoy the humor, even if we are on the wrong side of some jokes.

I think they're better when they keep it simple and don't try to get too cute. Overall, I think they're funny and look forward to them. But it's hard to be really unique and funny week in and week out.

It's tough to come up with something new every week. They only have about 24 hours after the last game on Saturday night to produce a show. I still find them entertaining and it hasn't cost me a dime.

She is one of the ones who actually stuck around. Over the years, there have been several others who were only in one segment, then never seen again. I always wondered why so many one and dones

I agree with others - I find sec shorts and Matt’s shows something to look forward to on Monday although if we lose I might wait a few days before watching that week.

They were certainly much better in their earlier days. Of course, they were newer back then. It's hard to recapture that novelty
