Walking around in NYC when there is snow on the ground is disgusting. It quickly becomes a nasty, black/brown slurry that stains your clothes.

I turned 60 in November and the older I get the more I hate the cold. It got down to around 30 this morning in Woodstock, Ga. Keep trying to convince my wife to move to Gulf County Fl once we retire but not having any luck. Told her I might just have to go without her. LOL

Initial estimates had it as a high end EF2 with peak winds at 135. NWS has revised and peak strength is now estimated to be 150, an EF3, with EF3 damage occurring in the most heavily hit area, New Castle.

Seriously though, I was talking to my mom last night in Tuscaloosa and she said she’d never heard winds that intense…for that long at least, and their house took a direct hit from a tornado in 2014.

No doubt......you and I have nothing to complain about. A tornado rips through and the perspective changes in a New York minute! I'm grateful every day......for what I have.

Yep...you understand the truth of 'bone chilling' at Offutt. I was in Dover...then at Ft Campbell. Was especially cold there in '74.
